Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Inflammation And Tenderness In Biceps And Legs While Treating Carpal Tunnel?
I am trying to find ou t why I have so much inflammation Right now I am treating Carpal tunnel. I also have tenderness in both bicips legs, and pelvic floor. I have had blood tests that ruled our RA Fibermialgar and other things. I would like to feel well. I cannot type because of the CT and braces.
I would advise you the following in such a situation: Since there is involvement of many regions and RA factor is negative the possible causes can be as follows: Hypothyroidism is known to cause such problems. Vitamin D deficiency. Fibromyalgia, this can be reconsidered if the exact cause is not found and is related to stress and anxiety. Any autoimmune disease. Hence consult your Doctor, discuss these points too. Get the further relevant investigations. May be ultrasonography of the affected are or MRI of any one area that is most affected. Once the cause is found the treatment can be specific and may be curative. Also identify whether any foods or beverage is instigating or enhancing your problems.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
