Hello dear Understand your concern Gout is characterize by high uric acid i the blood. It may be primary (metabolic pathway enzyme deficiency) and secondary (excess production, kidney disease) In gout, sodium urate crystal and uric acid will deposit mainly in the joint and it will produce inflammation and pain. Uric acid is less soluble than its salt. When Ph of blood will decrease, it aggravate the attack of gout. In acute attack you can NSAIDs and steroids. Allopurinol use to decrease the uric acid level. Avoid alcohol, drink plenty of water, avoid non veg food that rich in high protein. Report to the rehumatologist for proper treatment. Hope this may help you
