Hello and welcome to HCM, Cervical ectropion is the cause of cervical inflammation. Thus, cervical ectropion is responsible for repeated inflammation on the Pap test. Cervical inflammation is commonly seen in sexually active females and females in reproductive age group. There is nothing to worry regarding the reactive changes on Pap test. No organism is detected on the pap test thus, no anti-microbial treatment is required. You can get your pap test repeated after a year or according to your routine.
