What Causes Insecure Feeling At Nights Despite Taking Restoril And Xanax?

my insomnia is life altering... hve suffered for many years..I feel its insecurities/fear that haunt me at night...I take Restoril plus Xanax out of desperiation.. would love to get to the root of my problem & not just treat the symptom..I ve spent many a year with physcologists/therapists with no dent or improvement. As a chemotherapy nurse, I have to alert & accuate with all brain cells on board.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may want to consider a sleep specialist along with a doctor who can help with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
CBT can help to alter unhelpful or disturbing thoughts/ideas that are affecting behavior and function.

Your doctor may be able to refer to doctors who specialize in both of these areas.

I hope this helps
