What Causes Insomnia Along With Anxiety And Weight Loss?

My niece is 47 years old and, for the last 8 weeks, she has been experience ng severe pain nsomnia, anxiety and unwanted weight loss. She is 5 8 tall and wheighs 98 pounds. She has been to two GPs, a psychatrist, a counselor and a gastroenterologist. She has had a slew of tests, including a genetic test. She has been taking prozac for 4 weeks, ativan for the first 2 weeks and now a doctor wants her to take Mirtazapine. Is there anywhere she can go to get a TEAM approach? Every specially st has a different recommendation and nothing is working.

I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but please get a blood test for thyroid hormonal profile to exclude hyperthyroidism which can cause such symptoms.
