What Causes Insomnia Along With Sporadic Feeling Of Electrical Impulse In Head?

I have severe problem s with falling asleep and staying asleep. In 1998 I had a very severe car accident with a very bad TBI. I m finding that I m having sporadic bouts with upper body jerks (associated with my head, back/neck and arm s/hand s) and during these bout t it s almost like I hear electrical impulses in both my head and and my ear s and right as it climaxes of the electrical impulse I jerk after I notice my head dips in a sitting position during the day while I m awake. I ve only had this happen twice at night but primarily it s during the day. My last sleep study showed I had a high increase of 84% in the beta wave activity of the sleep pattern. My sleep doctor tried to rule it off to my medications I ve been on for year s, however, I m not on any stimulants. It s been questioned if I m having absent seizures with myoclonic jerks, however, it s never been followed up by neurologists or sleep doctor s. It s becoming extremely bothersome because I can go for several day s without sleep. I ve had medical training and my primary doctor trusts my recommendations when it comes to lab s and test s, however, I m unsure what this is and what now to ask for so I m asking here.

Your symptoms are suggestive of anxiety or might be related to medication you are being using. Kindly decrease daily caffeine intake especially in the evening. Have fixed routine for your sleep. Decrease your screen time. Go for daily exercise. Deep breathing exercise.
