What Causes Insomnia And Soreness Below A C-section Scar?

tomorrow i will be 37 weeks.. i m just wondering if i should go into the hospital to get checked because for the past few days i have not been able to sleep... when i lay on my right side for a long time or i get this sharp like really bad soreness feeling below my c-section scar on the right side and where my under wear line is at. but it goes away for a little bit when i switch to lay on my left side... or when i go use the restroom. also does the same thing when i sit down for a bit when i stand up its really hard to walk because its painful, it hurts when i move my right leg or barely try to lift it.. today i havent felt my baby move a lot like usual. saturday i think it was i had went into the hospital to get checked for bad cramps but they told me it could be from a bacteria i had got when igave a urine sample. i dont know if that is what is causing the pain i feel but im just trying to be cautious.

Hi,

You have to go to the hospital mam as scars have a tendency to become loose and open rarely once pressure inside abdomen becomes high as in pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
