Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hi,

Smoking habit is the reason for your insomnia. So better to consult a psychiatrist for
1. Smoking deaddiction
2. Treatment of insomnia.

Smoking deaddiction demands counselling sessions and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). Insomnia needs newer benzodiazepine group of drugs like Zolpidem, Alprazolam etc.

Gradually these drugs can be stopped under the guidance of a psychiatrist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
