What Causes Insomnia Post Septorhinoplasty Surgery?
Hello. I recently had a septorhinoplasty surgery to correct some breathing problems I ve been having, particularly while I sleep. But since the surgery, I have been plagued with post operative problems & have not slept since (just over two weeks) the surgery. I have faithfully used a Nettipot prior to & after, wit no marked improvements. My goal throughout this whole dreadful experience was to be able to have a moment or two (literally) of sleep without the use of afrin or other similar meds. Im at my wits end. Any suggestions???
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood that you have undergone septorhinoplasty in good faith that you may have great sleep but the results are negative. You are unable to sleep since then without medicines. The possible causes are: -Empty nose syndrome -Anxiety related to something affecting the sleep. -Disturbed sleep cycle
I would suggest you to meet your operating surgeon to have re-examination, discuss about this problems so that he may add on some medicines to correct the possible deficiency.
I hope this answers your query.
