What Causes Intense Cough And Cramps On The Sides While Having Flu?

I m in the fourth week of have a cold/flu. In this illness it includes much coughing. The strange thing is, a week ago I began dealing with horrible side cramps. I was wondering does a tremendous amount of consistent coughing create a type of fatigue that allows side cramps?

Hello!
I have been through your question.
Related your concern I think this is a complicated viral situation(cold/flu) with pneumonia or pleurisy. You should know that usually an uncomplicated viral situation in most people will recover in several days to less than two weeks, but if this situation last more ( as you have) probably you have developed complications. What I suggest in your situation( last more than two weeks with much coughing and side cramps), is to do a physical examination, pulmonary auscultation by a doctor, full blood test, chest radiography to define better the diagnosis , to exclude the complications and taking antibiotics if need it.

I hope my answer help you.
I wish you a quick recovery.
