What Causes Intense Itching Below Testicles And Foul Smell?

don t know the correct terminology ...but here it goes in a 55 yrs. old and for the last month I have had intense itching on the bottom side of my testicles, plus a foul bread smell in 55 yrs. never had a problem like this? and also found a small bump - I thought I might have gotten bit by something bump has subsided but now a small open wound (red and irritated) or have put on a little weight and thought it might be a friction problem? I have try the following with no success?: 1) OTC jock itch spray 2) medicated powders 3) washing with Pine tree oil 4) cleaning area with Hydrogen peroxide 5) constantly changing wash clothes 6) changed body wash can you recommend anything ?

Thanks for posting your query.

First of all avoid cleaning it with Hydrogen Peroxide , it can damage or burn the skin.

It seems like a fungal infection with a super added bacterial infection. You need to be started on Anti fungal with an Antibiotic cream which has to be used for at least 3 weeks.

You may also require a test called wound swab culture sensitivity test which is a swab test done on that open wound. Kindly get this test done and revert back with report.

I recommend you to consult your doctor and stop trying home remedies.
