What Causes Intense Lower Abdominal Cramps?

Hello, I have some questions about intense lower abdominal cramps. To back track I guess, I had sex for the first time almost 5 days ago, and have been on birth control for a month and a half called Orsythia. I had missed a pill the first month, and one the second month, which resulted in some bleeding and cramping a couple days before having sexual intercourse. Unfortunately the condom broke and we noticed about 30 seconds after, but there was no ejaculation on my partners part, our worry was about the pre-ejaculatory fluid which on occasion can contain sperm. I took Plan B two days later while still avidly taking the birth control. Since then, I took the plan b on Tuesday and it is now Thursday, I have had tremendous cramps that come in waves every 5-10 minutes or so that travel up my back, sometimes down my thighs, and up into my belly button region, sometimes it feels like someone is sticking a needle into my belly button. It has gotten better today though I must say, the cramps are less painful, and the waves are less frequent and much shorter. I have been bleeding for six days now and it got heavier after taking the plan b, it has lessened slightly as of today and has had more clumps to it. I assume this is normal because of the amount of hormones running through my body, but the pain is unlike any I have had before and I wanted a second opinion. Thank you for your time
