What Causes Intense Lower Abdominal Pain And Blood Spotting In The Urine?

Dear Dr. Rynne, I have throbbing, aching pain in my lower abdomen and my back. I also have pelvic and rectal pain. It feels like my rectum and bladder are dropping down. In addition, I constantly have microscopic blood in my urine, and I ve been having six or seven UTIs a year, for the past few years. I have to strain to urinate and my urine only comes out a little at a time. The pain is worse in the early morning hours, when I m lying down, and it keeps me from sleeping. I ve been wearing a full body posture brace to take the pressure off my back. There are more symptoms, but these are the most immediate. Thank you.

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Your sex would have been very useful. However, the symptoms you present are mostly found in males with prostate problems:Benign prostatic hyperplasia or prostate cancer. Recurrent UTIs are common due to urine stasis.Microscopic hematuria(blood in urine) are common findings in people with prostate problems and may become macroscopic signaling unfavorable evolution.I will advise you see a Urologist for examination and a prostatic work-up.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
