What Causes Intense Pain In Knee Post An ACL Surgery?
I had ACL revision surgery because my 1st had failed, Lachmann test showed it had but MRI said it was intact, when they went in it had ruptured? And now 3 months post op I m getting intense pain on the medial side of my knee and it is giving way a lot, my pt and surgeon both think it is either stretched or re ruptured, this is after the Lachmann test also, I was sent for a MRI again, and it is again saying all is ok, but all my other symptoms a pointing towards another fail, could the MRI be giving a false reading, I do have a few screw in my knee from the surgeries, the pain is waking me at night too

I really appreciate your concern, if the MRI is doubtful then it can be done at another place else it may not give any false result but of course radiologist may not be able to read the image in proper way, if this is the pain only matter then it can be managed with NSAID if the MRI is really did not find anything wrong with meniscus hope this information helps.
