What Causes Intense Pain In Lower Abdomen After A Physical Activity?
My friend says that he has bad stomach issues. He thinks it is his body s reaction to stress from playing intense sports. He described the pain as a stinging, burning pain in his lower internal stomach. When I suggested acid reflex/heartburn he said it was too low for that. He also said it only happens after his physical activity. What do you think might cause these issues?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of intense pain in lower abdomen after a physical activity. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like consuming foods known to cause gas in some people, such as milk products that contain lactose, broccoli, appendicitis, crohn’s disease, gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome or urinary tract infection.
The symptoms can also occur due to muscle cramps , so apply warm compresses on lower abdomen . You should take plenty of fluids. I would suggest you to avoid above mentioned foods , eat light and non spicy specially at night , take light walk after every meal , eat small and frequent meals.
If condition doesn't get well then consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , endoscopy along with stool test . Doctor may prescribe laxative , anti inflammatory along with antacids . Doctor may also refer you to urologist for UTI .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
