What Causes Intense Pain In Lower Abdomen And Irregular Menstruation?
Hello, I don t know wether to see a doctor or not because it seems silly. I have had some quite intense pain that makes me stop in my tracks and hunch over in my lower belly and I m quite concerned about this, I am on the implant and I don t get regular periods, day 5 and the pain is still the same on and off pain lasting up to 30 minutes and is very tender when it happens but once it s stopped I m fine, and then an hour later the same I have been taking pain killers to ease the pain but now it s starting to go in to my lower back as well I haven t been sick and I don t feel dizzy but I am concern I am 18 and female
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Complaints you are mentioning like pain in the lower abdomen and irregular menstruation are nothing but the side effects of the implant. Such problems are encountered by few women. Gradually, over a period of time, such side effects should settle down. When you encounter such problems, you need to take symptomatic treatment.
