What Causes Intense Pain In The Lower Back And Abdomen After Tubal Ligation?
I had tubal pregnancy in May, tube was removed. All i have left is one ovary and uterus. I have extreme back and abdominal pain and have light bleeding. Tylenol and ibu not helping. Menstrual cycle is not due for another 2 weeks,Is this still normal after 5 months?
To my opinion the back and abdominal pain you are experiencing is not related to the tubal removal 5 months ago.
If your periods are due for another 2 weeks very likely you are ovulating now and the pain might be due to the follicular cyst bursting to bring out the egg. Some women may experience intense pain when ovulation happens and sometimes pain killers might not help enough as it is happening in your case.
I would recommend you to use local warm compresses on the abdomen to help with the pain and also make sure you use good dose of paracetamol and ibuprofen. Sometimes the dose of paracetamol can be up to 1 g every 6 hours and ibuprofen you can take 600-800 mg every 6 hours after food. Having a little higher dose then the usual dose might be helpful to gain some more control of the pain.
If the above measures do not help enough, please see your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
