What Causes Intense Pain In Throat And Ear Despite Taking Co-codamol?
My uvela is stuck to my tonsil and I m in severe pain with my throat. I m also getting ear ache. I went to my doctor about it and she gave me some cocodamol and told me I have a viral infection but the cocodamol aren t working and I m in immense pain. What do you suggest?
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Intense pain and ear implies that you have pharyngitis with congestion near eustachian tube that has blocked it and unequalizes pressure on both sides of typhanic membrane. I would like to advise you to have throat swab for C/S. take anti allergic like cetrizine, decongestant like oxometazoline or xylometazolineNasal spray or you can simply take ibruphen and pseudoephidrine combination like Arinac forte. Do regular saline gargles and steam inhalation. Avoid dust and dust mites, pollens. If the problem is recurrent go for PNS xray and let the doctor see your report. Hope it helps best.
