What Causes Intense Pain On The Right Side Of The Back Despite Taking Ibuprofen?

yes - pain started 4 hours ago in right side of back - just around waist or a bit lower and is also down the median right thigh. took 600 mg of Ibuprofen 2 hours ago and some relief. I find sitting down makes it worse. now have ice on back and thinking muscle spasm from something I did.

hi..as per your concern muscle pain is not moving towards downward...
it is highly suapecious of SCIATICA pain ..
it occurs due to compressing of spinal nerve..while passing through spinal canal..
get done CT SCAN or MRI lowerback to exclude any major problem..
