What Causes Inter Menstrual Bleeding And Brown Vaginal Spotting?

Hi I was wondering if u could help me d past two months my periods have been a bit al over d place always had a normal 28days length cycle now this month and last month I started with spotting brownish blood stained discharge 18days into my cycle for four days and then get heavy periods from day five and last up to five days finished my periods 18days ago and today started spotting again is,this normal

* There are various reasons for inter menstrual spotting as:
- Stress of high level
- Alteration in taking OC pills (if consuming)
- Other underlying illness as fever or others.
