What Causes Inter Menstrual Bleeding While On Postinor?
I have taken postinor 2 on 22/3/17 and 3/4/17 twice recently and my period is 6 days earlier (29/3/17) from my normal period and now (9/4/17) I am bleeding again but is unlike my regular period which is brownish in color and the flow is very little more like spotting. I cannot differentiate which is my normal period now. I would like to ask will my period back to normal again and does it have any other complications after taking postinor2?
Hi, I think you are having irregular periods due to side effects of frequent intake of postinor. It can take 1 to 2 months to get back to normal. I think you should use some regular contraceptive pill instead of emergency pill if you don't want pregnancy. Emergency pill can lead to various side effects if taken regularly. You can take tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding now. Consult a gynecologist for proper prescription.
