What Causes Inter Menstrual Bleeding?

I am a 20 year old girl. I got periods for 15 days once, and for 10 days in the next cycle. I saw a doctor and she gave me krimson 35. I took it for 3-4 months and now after stopping I have irregular cycle. I am getting periods in interval of 8-9 days from the last two times. Is it normal since I have stopped taking pills or should I be worried? Please help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated. We have to rule out possible causes like hormonal imbalances. As of now drugs like tranexamic acid can be taken to control bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
