I am a lady 39 years old. My left overy was removed at the age of thirty due to cyst. I had tubular liagation..... Now at the age of 39 i am faceing menstural irregularities.. I had my last periods on 18th april... Which were very short and less... Now i started bleading again on 29 th... What could be the possible reason
Hi, I think it can be a premenopausal symptom. But do a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound to see the uterus and ovaries to find out any other cause of irregular periods. If anything is abnormal, it can be treated. Also get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist. to rule out any cervical pathology. You can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Hope it helps.
