What Causes Inter Menstrual Vaginal Bleeding After Child Birth?

Hi i just had a new born baby last november a month later my perios started or atlease that is what i thought it was this month i had my period staring from january 14th through the 17 today that is the 24th i am starting to cramp and bleed again is this normal? I ve heard that after your pregnancy your menstural period will not be the same anymore but bleeding twice in a month is getting me worried

Thank you for your concern. Yes that is abnormal and it means there is a problem
1. monitor your bleeding. volume.
frequency.
2. It is possible that you have hormonal inbalance. Do hormonal levels
3. This may be retained products of conception so Ultra sound is necessary. it will alsoassess the thick need of the uterine wall
4. Check your blood level as much bleeding may cause anaemia. and also assess WBCs for bacterial infection.
Treatment Will depend on the tests results.
Anti biotic cover for any infection
consult a gyneacologist for advise
