What Causes Inter Menstrual Vaginal Bleeding?

Hi Dr., I would your guidance on below issue. I am bleeding again on the 10th day post my previous dates. On 5th day we had unprotected sex and within 12 hours had taken i-pill as well. Could you please advice what could be the reason of the bleeding after menstrual cycle? And what needs to be done here

Hi,

Bleeding after taking i-pill, is generally related to the hormones that the pill contains , and it is not a reason to worry.
It might stop by itself, and you might have a normal menstrual cycle next month.
However, if you have any abdominal pain, dizziness or other complaints, you should consult a doctor because bleeding might be related to another cause.
If your next period doesn't come within one week after you expect it, you should try getting a pregnancy test.
