What Causes Intermenstrual Bleeding Along With Excessive Sweating And Fatigue?

Hello I am 50year old female. Last few months have been having my period multiple times per month, have been extremely fatigued and sweat a lot more than I ever have. Also seem to lose my breath without hardly any exercise. Could this all be menopause?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I can understand your anxiety. You have got menopausal symptoms, as the age group is between 45-55 & the average group falls on 47years.

I advise you to take

1. A nutritious diet rich in protein
2. Weight-bearing exercises
3. Calcium & vitamin supplements
4. Also to have a breast examination, USG PELVIS & a PAP SMEAR done to find out any other underlying pathology.

5. If still unbearable can go ahead with HRT (Hormone replacement therapy).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
