What Causes Intermenstrual Bleeding?

I am 36 years old and have always had extremely regular periods. For the last 3 months they are irregular. I had a regular period then 2 weeks later, bled again. After a month, I had another regular period now it's 15 days after the start of that last period and I am spotting and cramping again. Should I be concerned?

It may be due to hormonal imbalnce.
Please evaluate it from your gynecologist.
If possible change the pills.
You can use copper t or injecteble contraceptives.
