What Causes Intermenstrual Bleeding?

Hello, I have this problem. Last month I had my regular normal period and then two weeks afters I had another one but really different. It was very watery, runny and red. It lasted a bit longer than my usual period ( usual period max 5 days, this period 7 days). This month I got my period a week late and it seems to be the runny one again. I don t know what s happening.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Possible issue with cervical or vaginal infection may be associated with the watery discharge and inter-menstrual bleeding. In my clinic, after thorough clinical examination, I do recommend to get evaluated for the cervical swab examination in the lab for microbiology evaluation and treat accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
