What Causes Intermittent Blood In Stool And Nausea?
Hi fresh blood on stool or at end of stool motion. Has been ongoing on and off for about 4 months, very small amounts of fresh blood may be present for a few days and then nothing up to 3 to 4 weeks. Sometimes feel slight nausea, but am prone to nausea anyway at times. I have had external hemorrhoids before, no pain at any time, have a healthy apatite and weight is normal, no fatigue at any stage.
Hello dear, I really appreciate your concern. Fresh blood in stool is seen most commonly with internal hemorrhoids. You have history of external hemorrhoids and if you have chronic constipation then recurrence of hemorrhoids is most likely. Constipation can lead to indigestion problems which can be the cause of your nausea. Acidity problem can be the cause of nausea. I advise you to consult a surgeon for local anorectal examination to determine the cause of bleeding. Have high fiber diet like fruits and green leafy vegetables. You can have sitz bath by sitting in tub with warm water several times a day. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care. Thank you.
