What Causes Intermittent Breathlessness When Diagnosed With PCOD?

I am 70 years old and have : COPD, I do have times when I m short of breath but I think more of a anxiety thing, I feel very agitated and have trouble breathing it eventually goes away but is scary when it happens. I mentioned this to my Dr but she never followed up. What can I do when this happens. It really scares me.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
COPD is a respiratory disorder and is associated with breathlessness and other breathing disorders off and on.
COPDs are of various types and depending on its type exacerbate during different times of the year.
For instance bronchitis usually worsens during winters and has to be managed more aggressively.
Thus, if your breathing difficulty is increasing, you may consult your physician for clinical assessment and thus monitoring of your therapy.

Thanks and take care
