What Causes Intermittent Chest Pain While Swallowing Or Breathing?
Hi, I have been having chest pains all day (like when I swallow or sometimes just plain breathe) it seems to me that I have just been getting sicker and sicker I have had a couple more symptoms and I m not sure if I should be taking something? I have been taking prescribed acne pills and lotion for a couple weeks now but I doubt this would be happening this late.
There can be various reasons for chest pain.It can be due to gastritis or reflux associated with intake of spicy and oily food,or due to muscle strain or trauma. It could also be due to anemia or vitamin deficiencies. Even stress and anxiety can also cause such symptoms.Besides we also need to rule out heart related disorders.
I feel that first of all focus on your diet. Take plenty of fruits and vegetables and plenty of water. Avoid too much of tea, coffee and oily and spicy food. Keep yourself relaxed. If still the symptoms persist then go for some investigations like complete blood count, ECG, FBS, H.pylori and vitamin D. This will help us to make exact diagnosis and plan proper treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Milinda Gupta, Internal Medicine Specialist
