What Causes Intermittent Cold, Dry Cough?

Hi i keep catching a cold every month but its just a dry cough and then some mucus in my nose. I dont understand why i dont have any other symptoms such as aches or sore throat.. and it lasts for about a week or two and then another month passes and i get it again.. What am i doing wrong?

hi
it's mild upper respiratory tract viral infection.
secretions in nose is due to response of nasal mucosa to viral agents and climatic changes .
if block is severe use nasal decongestant drops .
steam inhalations help u to relieve ur nasal symptoms
