What Causes Intermittent Diarrhea, Weight Loss While Treating Hypothyroidism?

I have had diarrhea for months off and on more on I have lost 7 lbs. for me that is not good . I weigh 108, maybe. I should be weighing 117-120. I have been tested by my Dr. every thing comes up O.K. I seem to have some energy , I don`t stop. I am 69 years young . I don`t know what else to do. oh! I have hypothyroidism. I take meds for that.

I can understand your concern and would try to help you in the best posible way. These symptoms suggest that you may be having excess of thyroid hormones due to overcorrection. I suggest you get your thyroid hormone levels checked. If they cone to be on highes side you thyroid medication may require a dose de-escalation.
