What Causes Intermittent Dizziness And Sharp Pain On Right Side Of Temple?
Hello, I started experiencing sporadic episodes of dizziness for past two days. Now, today, I am also have sporadic, sharp right temple pain. Should I be worried or get to an emergency room? I am a female, 50-years old and my blood pressure has been fine for 49-years...past few months it has been a little high.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of intermittent dizziness and sharp pain on right side of temple . The symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, inflammation within the inner ear sometimes due to infection , meniere's disease , acoustic neuroma , sinusitis and multiple sclerosis. The symptoms can also cocur due to condition like migraine , so consult neurologist also . Sometimes ear infection occur due to postnasal drip due to sinusitis. You should avoid bending forward , take steam , drink ginger tea thrice a day and do light exercises daily . I would suggest you to consult with ENT specialist for proper checkup so that there will not be any further complication. Doctor may order certain test like CT scan , MRI , blood test , audiometry test and ECG to confirm the diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe anti emetic drug, sedatives , antibiotics , decongestants,drain sinus and prescribe some ear aid.
