What Causes Intermittent Dizziness While On Statins?

I am a 66 year old male in good health. The only medication I take is a statin for cholesterol. After I exercise, if I climb only a few stairs, I experience dizziness for about 30 seconds. This has been happening for about 2 months on/off....should I be concerned?

hello and very pleased to help you
Uncommon side effects of statins (which may affect up to 1 in 100 people) include dizziness.
you may ask your cardiologist to change the molecule lowering cholesterol, but you have to do more diet and more exercise if you want to stop the statin.
best wishes
