What Causes Intermittent Eye Pain While On Levothyroxine?
I have a history of graves disease for 31 years, received the iodine radioactive isotope in my early 30s. about 7 years ago, the graves returned and affected my eyes. I was on high dose steroids for about 6 months with a 2 month taper. Recently I have been feeling that my thyroid is acting up again. My primary care doctor did a TSH which was low. We decreased my levothyroxine about a month ago. In the last couple of days I have been having intermittent eye pain that has worsened today and it seems like my eyeball is larger than my left. Should I be worried about my thyroid again?
radioactive iodine is proper treatment surgery can be done. can take tapazole.natural treatment means manage stress level take antinflamatory diet do proper exerciser. is an autoimune disorder so steroid under control with tapering can be given quit smoking.symptomatic treatment for rest of problem.
