What Causes Intermittent Fever Along With Abdominal Pain And Green Stools?

I have been sick for the last 5 days. I started with chills and fever as high as 102. Also throwing up fleem. Hurting all over. On the 3rd day I went to the docter and he said I had the flu. He gave me a steroid shot and phenigren for nausea. Now I keep getting a fever off and on, crampy stomach and green stool. what should I do. Should I take a laxative?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of intermittent fever along with abdominal pain and green stools this seems to be viral fever or acute gastroenteritis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to prevent fever and body-ache , drink plenty of fluids, have proper rest , take analgesic such as Flexion and take light diet. In viral infection rest is most important thing you can do . Your symptoms will resolve in 5-7 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit general physician once and get it examined to rule out other causes and start treatment after proper examination and prescription. Go for blood tests as well to find out exact pathology.
