What Causes Intermittent Fever With Stomach Cramps And Diarrhea?

I ve had intermittent fever for the last four days. Monday it was 38.8 degrees I also had stomach cramps and diarrhoea. The fever broke early Tuesday morning. I felt completely normal all day Tuesday. Woke up Wednesday the same as Monday only no diarrhoea and my fever was 38. Broke early Today and woke up feeling totally fine! Now feel a little run down but that s about it. Thoughts?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Here according to your complaint , you have acute gastroenteritis....
It could be viral stomach flu or bacterial infection....

Take ofloxacin like antibiotic for 5 days.
Avoid excess spicy food.
Avoid smoking ...
Fruit juices taken more...
Take soft and bland diet for few days...
Non veg , pizza like junk food not taken much....
Banana fruit that restore amount of electrolytes and pottasium that can be lost in diarrhea....
Maintain hydration with more water....

Take care.

If still no benefit USG done as further work up.
