What Causes Intermittent High Fever And Stomach Pain While Treating Typhoid Fever?

Doctor I have been diagnosed with typhoid fever for the third time.the first three daysi was treated with ciprofloxacin iuv but the symptoms didn t subside as expected so the doctor advised that I use chlorophenical injections for three days.so far I have had two injections and have another one tomorrow. Was feeling much better until this evening I got a very high fever and stomach pains which come and go. What shouldi do doctor please advise

Typhoid needs to be treated with antibiotics, which I suppose you are receiving.
However, repeated episodes of Typhoid means you could be harboring the bacteria in your body post your infection each time (carrier state).
You need to be treated for carrier state too to prevent getting Typhoid again.
Wait until this course of antibiotics is complete. If it doesn't improve, switch to Ceftriaxone IV injections. Follow it up with Cefixime tabs for a week to prevent carrier state.
