I have been having severe hip pains randomly; at times its while driving long period of time or just laying in bed; the pain comes and goes but at time last for a little while...what could this mean? Also randomly i have pain in my hands when doing simple activities such as braiding hair writing or even typing are these signs of arthritis?
Thanks for consulting. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.
this pain is due to muscle tension mainly because of the awkward position in which you maintain the body while driving or working. it seems like an economical issue.
the main solution will be to identify the abnormal position and maintain the proper posture for which you get lots of guides from the net when you type ergonomic posture.
for pain relief can take diclofenac tablet 50 mg twice a day.
also hot compression with hot bag followed by local application of diclofenac gel will help reduce the pain.
Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
Best Regards! Dr. Arunmozhi varman
