What Causes Intermittent Left-sided Abdominal Pain?
I have been having severe abdominal pain on my left side for a few weeks now. It comes and goes. On the right side I have pain under my rib cage - had my gall bladder removed about 5 years ago. If I twist a certain way it really hurts. I ve been experiencing constipation too. Does this sound like two different things going on?
dear as per the description it seems to be constipation as the real culprit. a bit colitis can be suspected due to this chronic constipation. please add sufficient fluid fibre to diet.warm water sips can help a lot. Metronidazole or tab O2(ofloxacin &ornidazole. can be tried for colitis. however we can go for a sonography abdomen for persisting right side pain. hope this helps
