What Causes Intermittent Menstrual Bleeding Post Intake Of Norlut N?

Helli Doctor i am 29 yrs from past three yrs i had noticed that 5 - 6moths my period is normal either on 15th or 21th of every month but 2 to thress months it gets delay even i did checked the pregency test but result was negative. This time my period was regular from may 2015 till oct. In nov 2015 i got only few drop as period on 21st nov and then till 14jan 2016 nothing. ON 15TH JAN 2016 i started getting it few drop untill fen 6th. 6,7,8,9 normal flow. Then i had taken Norlut N 5mg prescribed by my doctor last yr. On 12th feb 2016 period stopped completely and then on 16th Feb i Got period normal flow but 17,18 was heavy flow i had to change my pad every 2hrs. yestersay i had taken norlut N 8mg stopped in the vening agian today started. Should i continue taking this medicine for a week?

* As per my surgical experience, the issue of intermittent menstrual bleeding after intake of Norlut N is changes in the epithelia of the uterine lining via progesterone intake.

Usually , it is used for control of severe menses flow for a period of 3-5 days, cessation of which leads to the menstrual flow and later since 5th day of new cycle, I recommend intake of oral contraceptive combined pills to regulate the flow via intake of 3 months course on consistent basis with in between gap of 7 days as usual.

However, in your case, I have noticed that only intake of Norlut N is been there and no regulatory medications are prescribed for later on use.

Re consumption of the same molecule will again put you in the same situation, rather than follow guidelines of your OBGY hence onwards.
