Viral/allergic pharyngitis 3. Traumatic pharyngitis 4. Deviated nasal septum As you are not febrile and you have no history over talking it is most likely viral or allergic. Both viral and allergic needs supportive therapy. I would like to advise you to have an Xray Paranasal sinuses to exclude Deviated nasal septum or hypertrophied inferior turbinate or nasal polyps as in nasal obstruction patient become chronic mouth breather that leads to throat irritation. Take plenty of fluids at least eight glasses of water per day, saline gargles two times, before going to bed and early in the morning before breakfast. Avoid dust, pollens, dust mites.
