What Causes Intermittent Muscle Twitching In The Finger?
Hello, last Wednesday my right index finger started twitching sporadically. There is no pain and some days have been better than others. It only occurs when I am resting. When I move the finger it stops. I have no weakness with it. I also have been having some other twitching in other areas that come and go. I have been under a lot of stress and anxiety for the last few months. I appreciate any advice you can give. Thanks, Chris
Twitching of a finger can be due to stimulation of muscles or nerves. This is due to nerve conditions, muscle conditions or imbalances in the electrolytes in your blood and can also be due to anxiety. Please discuss with your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
