Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 28 male 180cm and weighing approximately 70kg. Lately i have been experiencing nausea at night. I will start settling down getting ready for bed when I start to feel crook and rush straight to the bath room to throw up. after throwing up i feel fine and am able to continue my evening without any problems. This happened for about three days last month and thought it only a passing flue or something when it stopped. However now it is starting again.

What Causes Intermittent Nausea At Night?
Hi, Based on the history you have shared, it can be due to stomach inflammation or gastritis, as well as any food related toxin exposure. It s better to use anti emetic or motility agents like domperidone or itapride before meals for few days alongside antacids like omerperazole. Meanwhile soft diets and avoiding junk food, greasy oily stuff and spices avoidance must be ensured. If problem persists, ultrasound abdomen, liver function tests as well as serum amylase may be needed. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
