Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Intermittent Pain Above The Pubic Bone?
I am experiencing intermittent severe pain in the area right above my pubic bone. It feels more like bladder pain that bowel pain and is accompanied by general malaise, headache and joint pain. The exact same thing happened several weeks ago and lasted about 3 days before resolving completely.
The pain seems like to be of urinary tract infection and it will go away when you will drink a lot of water and get your urine routine examination done. Over the counter painkillers like acetaminophen will help reduce the pain.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
