Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Intermittent Pain And Tingling In The Arm?
I AM SUFFERING FROM INTERMITTENT, MILD TO MODERATE PAIN AND TINGLING IN MY LEFT ARM. CONDITION WORSENS WHEN HORIZONTAL IE LYING IN BED OR TILTED IN A DENTIST S CHAIR. I WAS SUCCESSFULLY TREATED FOR SPINAL STENOSIS (EPIDURAL) APPROX 6 YEARS AGO. DO I NEED TO WORRY? THERE IS NO SWELLING OR WEAKNESS OR WARMTH
This again indicates that there is nerve compression somewhere leading to your symptoms. So you need to be assessed with X-ray spine and may need MRI. This may be due to minor nerve compression on one side which may be treated with physiotherapy and medicines.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sagar Makode,
Cardiologist
