What Causes Intermittent Pain In Chest?

I ve had an on & off pain on the right side of my chest part of today. I m a 40yr old female with two young boys. Don t smoke, drink once a year since I ve had my kids. I exercise twice a week aswell as looking after my boys. Should I be worried? Thanks

Hello. This may just be pleuritis--an inflammation of the lining of the lung, but you should get it checked out since, even on the right side of the chest, it could be heart pain or a possible pulmonary embolus
