What Causes Intermittent Pain In Knees, Hip, Ankles, Shoulders And Joints?

I have pain off and on some days are really bad and others not so bad. The pain is in my knees, hips, ankles, shoulders, wrist, back in my joints and some tender spots mostly in my ankles and shoulders. The days that are getting bad are getting worse. I do have 2 slipped discs in my back and a bad right knee so for a long time I chalked it up to the pain of that, but my hands are getting bad and it s harder and harder to grip items.

Dear- your symptoms could be secondary to osteoarthritis, mostly because you have different areas of pain. Other possibility is seronegative arthritis for which I recommend to have a complete evaluation with xrays and laboratory data to check uric acid, rheumatoid factor ,calcium levels and CRP .The hardness of your hands could be osteoarthritis vs calcified tendinitis.
