What Causes Intermittent Pain In Legs On Standing For Long Time?

I find that if I stand on my legs for too long , I get pain in my legs in the shin area to where I can almost not walk on it , then it goes away and comes back within a few hours.I only work 5 hrs a day five days a week but hope I can continue to do this without this pain.

Hello my friemd
I am Dr. Arianisa
Thanks for your question on HCM

Venous congestion occurs when the valves in
your leg veins don't work properly to keep blood
moving efficiently from your legs to your heart.
Instead, blood pools in your legs and feet,
causing pain and swelling. The pain is typically
described as a burning or cramping sensation,
mainly in the calf. Varicose veins can cause venous congestion ,or poor function of valves on leg too..
So my anvice is to make an physical examination to your legs by your GP,and try to not stend for a long time on feet

Hope this information is helpful to you
Best regards
